Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board(SSAIB)
The Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board, or SSAIB, is a UK certification body that audits and approves companies across the security and fire industry, including alarm receiving centres and remote video response centres. It is one of the two widely recognised bodies buyers look for alongside NSI.
SSAIB runs named accreditation schemes for specific roles in the industry, including a scheme specifically for remote video response centres, which is how a monitoring company demonstrates it meets a recognised standard for that particular service rather than for alarm monitoring generally.
A guarding, monitoring or installation company will typically hold SSAIB or NSI certification for a given activity, not both, and buyers generally treat the two as equivalent rather than one being a stronger signal than the other.
Camzify does not hold SSAIB certification. Its schemes apply to the guarding, monitoring and installation companies that run services on top of Camzify, not to the software itself.
