National Security Inspectorate(NSI)
The National Security Inspectorate, or NSI, is a UK certification body that audits and approves guarding, monitoring and installation companies against recognised industry standards. An NSI-approved company has been independently inspected, rather than simply claiming a standard for itself.
NSI runs separate approval schemes across the industry, covering guarding companies, alarm and CCTV installers, and alarm receiving centres, each against the standard that applies to that kind of company. A company can hold NSI approval for one part of its business without every part being covered.
SSAIB is the other widely recognised UK certification body doing similar work, and the two are generally treated as equivalent alternatives by buyers rather than one being preferred over the other. A company will usually hold one or the other, not both, for a given activity.
Camzify does not hold NSI approval itself. The schemes NSI runs apply to guarding, monitoring and installation companies, the businesses that are Camzify's own customers and partners, not to a software vendor.
