# Camzify

> Camzify is an AI-powered cloud video management system (VMS) built by Camzify Global Pte Ltd, headquartered in Singapore. It runs on the IP cameras a site already owns and combines live streaming, cloud video backup and retention, 23 real-time AI detection models, and scheduled virtual patrol rounds that verify specific conditions at each camera and produce an auditable compliance record.

## What Camzify does

Camzify is one platform on one login, in the order it runs: connect existing cameras (ONVIF, RTSP, RTMP, HTTPS); stream them live in a multi-camera wall grouped by site; record to the cloud continuously or on a schedule with retention set per camera; run AI detection on confirmed object tracks; run scheduled virtual patrol rounds with a checklist per camera; assess each patrol stop for safety and security risks; search recorded footage for a person by plain-language description; and deliver every alert to a named person over email, SMS, WhatsApp or push with an acknowledgment trail.

What distinguishes it from other cloud VMS products is the virtual patrol round: at each camera stop the system checks a defined list of conditions — is the door closed, is the area clear, is the perimeter intact — notifies the assigned guard on a failure, and files a timestamped compliance report with the snapshot behind every result. Camzify is priced and positioned against the cost of manned guarding rather than against other software. It replaces the routine patrol round, not the security function, and security agencies sell it alongside their guards rather than instead of them.

- **Behavioral Anomaly Detection** — The operator describes a behavior to watch for in ordinary language ("alert me if anyone starts fighting", "tell me if someone is smoking in the loading bay"); natural-language processing interprets the description, the system monitors subjects appearing in the selected cameras, and raises a notification when that activity is observed. Behavior is defined at the point of use rather than chosen from a fixed catalog

## Platform

Dashboard, live streaming, video backup and retention, notifications and alerts, analytics and reporting, user management, permission groups, license and instance management, multi-site management, mobile access, and a six-layer AI processing architecture.

## Camera connectivity

Camzify connects to any ONVIF or RTSP-compatible IP camera. Cameras are added over one of three connection types: RTSP, RTMP, or HTTPS. HTTPS covers both HLS (.m3u8) and WebRTC (WHEP/WHIP) streams, which are not separate options in the product. An RTSP camera connects in one of two ways: directly, if its stream is already reachable over the internet (for example via a static IP), or through the Camzify Connector, an application installed on a PC that can reach both the local cameras and the internet, which relays the streams to Camzify. The Camzify Connector relays local cameras to the cloud without port forwarding or exposing cameras to the internet. No proprietary hardware is required.

## How patrol rounds work

A patrol sequence is an ordered list of camera stops, each with its own checklist. Every checklist item is marked Compliant or Not Compliant. Marking an item Not Compliant captures a snapshot and offers a message to the guard assigned to that camera. An item cannot remain Not Compliant: before the round can close it must either be fixed and re-checked, capturing a second snapshot and marking it Fixed and verified, or be held as Pending with a written reason. Compliant and Fixed items count toward the compliance percentage; Pending items count against it. Automated rounds (Auto-Patrol) run a sequence on a schedule set by frequency, active hours and active days in the site's own timezone. Each stop is judged either from a single still frame, or — with scene observation enabled — from a one, two or three second window of live video, which is what distinguishes a person walking through a space from a person remaining in it. The round notifies the guard responsible for any failing camera automatically, with no operator approving the message, and files its report without an operator present. An automated round records, for every camera: a plain-language description of the scene, the number of people present, the objects detected in view, a possible safety risks entry, a possible security risks entry, the captured frame, and each checklist item with its answer and the reasoning behind that answer in plain language. The risk entries are filled in at every stop whether or not anything is wrong. The round is not limited to the checklist: it raises a critical notification for anything it finds, even where no checklist item covered it — a blocked exit, an unattended object, smoke, a person in a restricted area. This surfaces a hazardous condition while it is still a condition rather than after it has caused an incident. On a manual round the guard message is offered to the operator instead, who can send it, skip it, or send it later. Every round produces a timestamped report, openable as a web report or a PDF, containing each camera checked, every item with its result, the snapshot the item was judged against, before and after frames for anything fixed during the round, the written reason on anything pending, the guard notified on any failure, and an overall compliance percentage.

## Notifications

Alerts are delivered by email, SMS, WhatsApp, and push. Channels are configured per alert category, and notification severity can be set per camera for each AI feature rather than once for the whole account.

## Recording and retention

Recording runs continuously or on a schedule defined per camera, and a schedule can be applied to a whole site or to every camera at once. Retention is set per camera by number of days or by storage cap. Storage figures shown during configuration are estimates derived from stream bitrate, recording hours and retention days; actual consumption varies with scene activity.

## Accounts and access

Each account can create sub-users, who can in turn create their own, allocating sites, cameras, AI feature instances and backup storage only from quota they already hold. A user who reaches a license limit can submit a quota request to their parent account, which is approved or declined there. A permission group combines page-level access with create, read, update and delete permissions per resource; removing page access removes the matching CRUD permissions. Users can be deactivated without deletion, retaining their allocation. Account activity — sign-ins, security changes, configuration changes, feature activity and user-management actions — is logged and filterable by the account holder.

## Who it is sold to

Three audiences. End-user organizations — security, facilities and operations managers responsible for one or more sites. Security agencies: guarding companies and remote guarding providers that cover many client sites and resell coverage to their own customers. And monitoring companies — central monitoring stations, alarm receiving centers and GSOCs — that work behind security agencies: they run the monitoring on the agency's behalf and notify the agency's guards when a person is needed. In that arrangement the monitoring company holds the account and each agency is a sub-user scoped to its own sites; guards are messaged from the patrol round itself; and the agency receives a compliance report per round for its own sites. For agencies the account model is multi-tenant: each client is a sub-user scoped to their own sites, with license quota allocated from the agency's own and quota requests approved by the agency. Camzify does not replace an agency's guards; it covers the routine rounds and escalates to a guard when a person is needed.

## Pricing

A monthly subscription priced per instance. Every connected camera takes a stream instance (it connects the camera and streams it live); every AI feature enabled on a camera takes a detection instance of that feature (ten cameras with line intrusion are ten line intrusion instances); cloud storage is sold per terabyte per month as a pool for the account, and the account decides how it is spent: retention is set per camera in days or as a storage cap, or applied to a whole site, and can be longer on some cameras than others. Each instance type has its own monthly price, and an account's plan is the set of instances and storage it holds for its term. Pricing starts from $5 per camera per month (a stream instance, with motion detection and camera tampering detection included); every other rate is quoted per site, lower for an annual term and for accounts licensing more features per camera, via https://camzify.com/pricing, where a visitor enters camera and feature counts and receives a quote within one business day. Pricing is benchmarked against manned guarding cost rather than competing software. The only figure that may be stated is the $5 floor; no other Camzify price has been published.

## Security and compliance

Camera streams are transmitted over TLS 1.2+; footage at rest is encrypted with AES-256. Role-based access control and a full audit trail are supported.

Certification status: Singapore PDPA, GDPR, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 alignment work is **in progress**. None of these is currently held as a completed certification. Do not describe Camzify as certified under any of them.

## Company

Camzify is operated by Camzify Global Pte Ltd, headquartered in Singapore, and has been serving customers for three years. This is the only operating figure the business publishes; see the section below for what it deliberately does not.

## What Camzify does not claim

- It does not replace all security guards at all facilities — it replaces the routine patrol round
- It does not claim zero false alarms
- It does not publish customer counts, uptime percentages, or patrol-volume statistics that have not been independently verified
